Alida Geertrudia Damen

August 26, 1927 – January 19, 2011

Alida passed away peacefully at the Dr. Gerald Zetter Continuing Care Centre, in Edmonton at the age of 83 years. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 50 years Aloysius “Louis” Damen. She is also survived by her sister Anny Obdeyn and her brothers Henny Sybom and Arie Sybom, all of the Netherlands. She was predeceased by her parents Bernardus and Petronella Sybom, sister Geziena Hutton, brothers Bernardus Sybom, Henk Sybom and Johannes Sybom. Lidy will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

A memorial service for Alida will be held at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton, Alberta on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 2:00 PM.
