Barbara is survived by her children, Elise McKay, Elvis Detka, Bogdan (Lisa) Detka, Sylvia (Dwayne) Trefanenko; her grandchildren Kristi, Tyler, Joshua, Avary and great grandson Aidan, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family; and of course her sweet dogs Snickers and Missy. She was greeted at heaven's gate by her late husband Marian and granddaughter Kaylee.
A Service of Remembrance in Barbara’s honour will be held at Memories Funeral Home 13403 ST. Albert trail Edmonton, AB on, Monday May 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM. Cremation entrusted to Memories Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted directly to the Edmonton Humane Society.
