I was very saddened when I heard the news that Barb had passed.  Barb was one of the first people that I had contact with when I started at Northern.  She was always there to help this new kid on the block with whatever I was searching out.  She was very knowledgeable, helpful, thoughtful and kind, to  me and all those who worked with her over the years.  Barb will be dearly missed.

Barb always had a smile on her face.   She was always willing to help out even  during the Kananaskis  times.      She  helped me in so many ways.

I knew Barb from her work at the Northern Forestry Centre.   She was a wonderful person - thoughtful, sensitive to the needs and feelings of others, and always willing to stop her work to help with any problem.  She never missed a chance to socialize with staff at various events and she always made you feel like you mattered.  She will be missed by many people.

I will always have very fond memories of Barbara from when I worked at the Northern Forestry Centre in Edmonton.  So warm, thoughtful, and genuinely interested in what was happening in her fellow employees' lives.   She and Connie made their shared office a welcoming place.  Sending my love to her family.

My sincere condolences to the family of Barbara Grauman. Barb worked  at the Northern Forestry Centre of the Canadian Forest Service. I remember her always as a helpful and happy person who enjoyed the people that she worked with. Many retirees will remember her service and contributions over the years and will be saddened to hear of this news. 

Please know she was respected and appreciated during her working years with us.
