Brian was born on October 12, 1954 to James and Joan Mitchell in Edmonton.
Brian grew up on the south side of Edmonton where he first met his wife at St. Anthony’s elementary school. They didn’t start dating until after high school in 1972.
In 1979, Brian and Nina were wed and went on to have two children and four grandchildren.
Brian was predeceased by his father James and mother Joan. He is survived by his wife Nina, son Kerry (Kristina) daughter Cassie, sisters Val, Judy, Shawn (Alan), Eileen (Jeff), brothers Pat (Teresa) and Kelly, grandchildren Cash, Stella, Brooklynn and Dyson. brother in laws and sister in laws and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium
9810 34 Ave NW, Edmonton AB on February 12th at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the University Hospital Foundation.
