Carol Anne Preston

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Carol Anne Preston (nee Watson) of Edmonton, who passed away unexpectedly on July 5th, 2023 after a brief 3 week stay at the Misericordia Community Hospital at the age of 80 Years.

Carol will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Karen Preston, Colleen (Rick) Guldbrand. She is also survived by her brother Warren Watson, her brother-in-law Scott (Dian) Preston and her sisters-in-law Anna Squires and Arlene Preston; many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Carol was predeceased earlier this year by her husband Arnold of 58 years. She was also predeceased by her parents Edwin and Mildred Watson; brother-in-laws Gordon and Rolland Preston and sister-in-laws Bernice Preston and Verna Watson.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Emil Nath of the Misericordia Community Hospital, for his care and compassion over the last two weeks of her life.

A Memorial Service with reception to follow, will be held Monday, July 24, 2023, at 11 a.m. at

Hainstock’s Funeral Home & Crematorium 9810 34 Avenue NW Edmonton, AB.
