Mrs. Catherine Rudelpha Weber (nee Diedrichs) of St. Albert, Alberta passed away on August 26, 2012 at the age of 79 years. She will be forever remembered by her loving husband of 58 years, Andrew Weber, children; Lynda (Sam) Ung of Edmonton, AB, Douglas Weber, Beverly Luu both of St. Albert, AB, 5 grandchildren; Mark (Kristy) Ung, Greg (Tanya) Ung, Casey Weber, Katlyn and Daniel Luu, 3 great grandchildren; Tia and Kai Ung (parents; Mark/Kristy), Sydney Ung (parents; Greg/Tanya).
Catherine was predeceased by her parents; George and Barbara Diedrichs (nee Wright).
Mom was born in Regina, Sask. and spent her childhood in Rosetown, Kerrobert, and Broadacres, Sask. She graduated with a degree from St. Paul’s School of Nursing in Saskatoon, Sask. in 1954 along with her close cousins and lifelong friends Rudelpha and Marie. She went on to become a skilled and compassionate nurse until her retirement 35 years later.
She was an accomplished musician/pianist (Level/Grade 10) and was particularly fond of the Classics, Opera and popular showtunes of the 50’s and 60’s.
