She leaves to mourn her daughter, Delores (Wayne); son, Harvey (Carole); four grandchildren, Tim, Carolyn (Lee), Cori (Darren) of Edmonton, and Catherine (Darryl) of Calgary; five great-grandchildren, Sabrina, Cassidy and Jordyn of Edmonton, Sydney and Rachel of Calgary. Also survived by mom’s brother, Ben (Gertie); and sister, Sadie.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Emile Streitz in 1947; second husband, Harry Lahl in 1999; brothers, Ewald, David, Alfred, Ted, and Keith; sisters, Theresa, Agatha, and Dorothy.
The family extends a heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care provided by the Shepherds Care, Millwoods. Thanks to her sister Sadie for the tireless visitation provided by her over the years.
Internment has taken place. A celebration of Mom’s life will be held on Friday, April 15, 2016, at 2:00 at the Richmond Park Evangelical Church, 9340, 69 Avenue, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Clara’s memory to Hope Mission, or charity of choice.
