

Clarence passed away peacefully on April 6, 2012 at the age of 80, born September 30, 1932 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan.
He is survived by Margaret his loving wife of 56 years, his four sons Dean, Larry (Ellen), Steven (Lynn) and Randal. He was a big brother to Anita (John) Hounjet, numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by older sister Rita (Tom) Coleman.
A committed and caring family man, Clarence was dedicated to his wife, sons and extended family. He took immense joy and pleasure in his relationship with his cherished grandsons, Deklan and Michael.
An enthusiastic outdoors man, Clarence loved nothing better than walking the cut-lines across Northern Alberta, a day fishing, and of course golfing. His love of the outdoors parleyed into his artistic passion for bird carving.
An able carpenter and builder, evidence of his handiwork was always present in the family homes.
Clarence's artistic side was also evident through his love of music as a fine guitar player with a lovely singing voice to match.
Clarence enjoyed a successful business career with Federated Co-op, A&W Canada (merchandising director), and as President of CI Services in Edmonton.
A deeply religious man served the Catholic Church throughout his life becoming a Four Degree Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Clarence's memory via the website www.albertacancer.ca c/o the Cross Cancer Institute in Edmonton supporting the hematology unit.
Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 10826 - 62 Ave., Edmonton, AB on Friday, April 13 at 1:00 p.m. Black dress not mandatory.
