February 2, 1936 - April 18, 2013
It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the death of Clive McKeage. He was 77.
He died in hospice in Edmonton, Alberta, surrounded by family and friends after a brief
but valiant battle with cancer. He will be sorely missed by his loving wife, Barb;
daughters, Kathy McKeage (David Ryan) and Sheila McKeage (Tony Clark); son, Dave
(Nancy); and grandchildren, Nadia and Lyla McKeage. Clive also leaves his three
brothers, Ira (Sharon), Frank (Barb), Alan (Chris); and two sisters, Lorna Musslewhite
and Mary (Ernie) Ross as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
Clive’s work as a cable splicer with Alberta Government Telephones contributed much
to the communications infrastructure of the province. Clive greatly enjoyed his
retirement, and devoted his days to his family, as well as woodworking, hunting, and
fishing.
A celebration of Clive's life will be held on Thursday, April 25, at 1:00 p.m. at
Hainstock’s Funeral Home at 9810-34 Avenue, Edmonton. Donations in lieu of flowers
should be directed to the Nature Conservancy of Canada at www.natureconservancy.ca.
