Lia wants you to know she's doing good and she loves you so much. She says you're the best grandma ever. She misses you everyday and loves to hear stories about you. Regularly, you can find miss Lia praying to you at school and at home. She has been learning sign language and has become quite the little reader and writer now. Oh gosh, and her singing! This girl has quite the artistic talent. Lia has made a few great friends this year named Val and Cass. Lia goes to music class and quite enjoys singing, playing instruments, and even has a guitar at home to play on! She is a lover of music just as you were. She's 10 now and turning 11! Hard to believe she's growing up so quickly. Lia loves to talk to you and learning all about you and what our lives were like when you were still here. You would be proud of the little girl she has become.

Not a day goes by I don't think about you mom, I miss your smile, your laugh, your kind and compassionate ways. They said time would help heal the hole that's left in my heart... But it hasn't, and it never will. You were the most amazing mother a daughter could ask for, you taught me how to be gentle, kind, compassionate, but also strong when needed. I'm proud of the woman I've become and it's because I had you to look up to as my role model. I'm sure you're enjoying watching the girls grow up, helping them along when needed. I wish so badly that I could hug you and tell you I love you just one more time, but that will have to wait. Hope you're living it up in heaven with Grandpa!

Condolences Bob and family,
Like many here, I was shocked to here of Debbie's passing.  I will miss her happy, smiling face and bright outlook.  Always a piece of sunshine.  I was lucky enough to work with her and shared a squash court for some time where her competitive nature surfaced! 
She will always be remembered as such a caring person.  Goodbye Deb until another day.

Bob, Alyson, Luis, Kiana and Lia - it has taken me sometime before I could bring my self to put my thoughts in writing.  Our friendship goes back to our Jasper Place elemenatry school days - we lived close into our high school years. I  consider her my best friend. Our weekly shopping trips followed by nachos and "coffee" - which everyone finaly figured out was beer - will be greatly missed.  Deb will always be in my thoughts and heart and I send much love your way for always and forever

I have just learned of Debbie's passing. My sincere and deepest condolences go to Debbie's family. I am a childhood friend who shared years and years of play and adventure with Debbie until I moved away in our teen years. I often reflect on the happy memories of our time togehter as children and feel blessed that we were able to see each other about a year ago to catch up with our lives. I will cherish these memories of a very special person.

Bob, Allyson and family. Words cannot begin to say the right things to help you in your loss. I feel truly blessed to have known Deb all these years through my sister and brother-in-law. And then to my delight to work with her in Chemistry at Dynalife for all these years. She was a great co-worker and friend. She will be truly missed. She showed such courage throughout this battle. Treasure your memories for they will bring you great solace in the times to come.

We will miss Debbie and will cherish our memories of her. Auntie Debbie was the "cool" aunt who listened to good music and was fun-loving and kind. Our New Year's Day dinners at Bob and Debbie's were highlights of our Holiday seasons over the years. Generous, kind and so young at heart; Debbie was special and will truly be missed.

I was so sorry to hear about your family's loss.  I worked with Deb at Kasper's and then at Dynalife until I left to work at AHS a few years ago.  She and I always had a laugh together and I loved seeing her at the annual golf tournaments and the Christmas parties.  She will definitely be missed.

My sincere condolences to Deb's family. I had the absolute pleasure to be one of Deb's golfing buddies the past few years. She was the most positive person I have ever met. Her humour, infectious laugh and the ability to see the good in everything around her ( including the duffed shots on the golf course) are some of the things I admired about her. So many of my memories growing up are entwined with memories of Auntie Deb. Christmas mornings, New Years parties, Saturday night movies, sitting on the deck; the list is long. Auntie Deb was always such a positive and supportive person in my life, even during my "creative" teenage years. I am thankful to have spent a childhood growing up next to such a joyful person. My thoughts and prayers go out to Uncle Bob and Allyson as well as all of those friends and family touched by the loss of this special lady.

In the time I had known Deb she had made a lasting impression. She taught me so much about work and life. In this sad time , I hope you can find comfort in knowing how much she was valued by so many.  She will be forever loved and missed.

Bob and Deb have been our neighbours for thirty seven years and at two different houses. Gillian and I bought the condo at Millbourne Greens across the road from Bob & Deb in 1976. When we moved to our current home the Stewarts followed a few months later. Over 30 years ago we discovered we were both watching Masterpiece Theatre on Sunday nights. This lead to us watching together each week, one week at the Stewart's for chocolate and drinks, the next week at our home. There were many Saturday nights together watching rented movies and uncountable warm afternoons on the deck, theirs or ours with cold beer. Then there were the Friday evening dinners at Bo Diddley's Pub, enough dinners that the waitresses knew us and what we liked to drink. Christmas gift opening on alternate years at the Stewart's home or ours, the New Year's Eve party where Deb always had her shortbread cookies out for us, then Chinese food for New Year 's Day. This has been more than a friendship it has been our life. Deb you will be missed but not forgotten.

I feel lucky to have known and worked with Deb, she always displayed patience and generosity with her vast knowledge in our field and managed to couple it with her wonderfully quick, dry wit and infectiously positive attitude. I was saddened to learn of her sickness, but was strengthened and empowered by the courage and dignity with which she faced it. I'll miss laughing at her stories, watching her blast through crosswords in minutes, and will try to make it to Hawaii some day, as per her instructions. Deb always spoke with love and adoration for her family and the people around her, and I hope that that fact, coupled with your memories of her, will afford you comfort in your time of loss.
