"Hayden and Keelan, our hearts are so saddened to hear of the loss of your parents. It had been a few years since I had seen your mom. One memory I recall is sitting with your mom and admiring the beautiful scrap books she had made for both of you. I remember your mom’s beautiful smile and hearing the pride in her voice as she talked about you both as we went through each page of your adventures growing up. Your parents were so very proud of both of you.

I grew up with Ed in Vancouver and reconnected many years later when the boys were very young.  Ed, Diane and the boys would come for dinner and the boys would fall asleep in tv room.  They were great parents.  We would take turns having them for dinner and then they would have us for dinner.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We are very saddened and our hearts go out to the boys during this difficult time.

To Hayden and Keelan,My wife and I would like to send you our prayers and most sincere condolences.I have never met your Mom but I worked very closely with your Dad, Ed, for many years at Finning.He always spoke very fondly of his sons and would love to talk about the many activities he took you to after work hours.I hope you can find some comfort in knowing these things and that you will find the strength to carry on as your folks would have wanted you to.

Hayden & Keelan - know that although we are many miles away - we cannot tell you how very much our thoughts and prayers are with you.  Even though this is a very difficult time - hold on from this day forward knowing that your mom and dad were together, enjoying something that they dreamed of sharing together and something they truly loved and made them very happy.  You are their angels - you made them proud and you have grown into truly amazing men!  Continue to grow - continue to make them proud!  They loved you dearly - you made them whole! To Diane and Edward's family I wish to send my sincere and deepest condolences.  I never met your dad, Edward, however, I knew your Mom from her years at RBC.  I was shocked and deeply saddened by the news of their passing today.  Words in a time such as this are hard to find to try and comfort a family I have never met.  Hayden & Keelan, seeing your Mom at work, she was always so full of life and loved to tease and have fun with her regular clients.  I wish for both you and your family that the days ahead allow you too start to mend your broken hearts and reflect on the wonderful lives you shared together.  May God bless you and help heal your sadness with the knowledge of his love for your parents and you both.

My deepest condolences to the Rensch Family and friends. I did not know them personally, however from the wonderful video posted Edward and Diane appear to have loved their boys very much and enjoyed life. I only hope that I was able to provide some comfort to them in their time of need and will never forget the wonderful memories that you have shared.
