Dolores Hazel Lloyd, 86, went to her heavenly home on Monday, February 12, 2024. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Dolores was a woman of faith who loved her Lord, her family, her church, and her community. She led a simple life of loving others; ensuring everyone she met knew they were seen and loved not only by her, but also by the God she served. While those who loved her will miss her dearly, they are comforted knowing that she is rejoicing on the streets of gold as she dances with the saints who have gone before.
The family would like to thank the palliative care team at the Grey Nuns Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, for their amazing care and support in the last days of Dolores’ life. The journey was difficult but made easier with their compassion and kindness.
A celebration of life will be held at Hope City Church, 10123 Princess Elizabeth Ave NW, Edmonton AB, on Sunday February 25 at 1:30pm.
