

Don was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on May 15, 1937. He was raised in Prince Albert by his mother, Beatrice Woodrow.
Don is survived by his best friend and the love of his life, Beverley. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on January 31, 2019. He also lived with his two favorite princesses’, Tiki and Willow. They stayed by his side until their dad fell asleep.
Don is also survived by his children, Lori (Larry), Larry (Kelly), Dal-e (Nikki) and Donna, who was just like a daughter to Don and Bev. Once his children grew up, he was blessed with 14 grandchildren, Lindsay (Ty), Amanda, Nicole (Steve), Travis, Wendy, Philip, Lyle Jr., Stephanie (Jay), Justin (Carley), Natasha (Keegan), Candace (Tyler), Isis, Eden, and Alana. And again when his grandchildren grew up, he was gifted with his most precious gifts, his 10 great grandchildren, Alexys, Taea, Keaton, Kadian, Kody, Sawyer, Nick, Shayna, Lilli, and Ainsleigh. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Larry; nieces and nephews, Randy (Michelle), Deborah, Allan (Andrea), Bev (Jerry), Brenda (Bius), Colleen, Laurel, and Robin (Jim). He was predeceased by his daughter, Linda (1969); son, Lyle (2012); sister, Roberta; sister-in-law, Bernice (2018); and best friend, Don.
The family wishes to express deep appreciation for the outstanding medical care given to Don by a number of doctors who cared for him. They were Dr. Sardesai, Dr. Dawkins and the team at the Cross Cancer Institute and the 911 team who came out many times to help Don out.
There will be no funeral as requested by Don.
