Douglas "Doug" Deagle, age 77, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, craftsmanship, and unwavering love. His life was defined by generosity, loyalty, and a remarkable ability to brighten the lives of everyone around him.
Doug is survived by his devoted wife, Darlene, with whom he shared a lifetime of partnership and laughter. He was a proud father to his two daughters, Dana (Dave) and Danielle (Greg), and a deeply loving grandfather to his four cherished grandchildren: Olivia, Abby, Lucas, and Benjamin.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ed and Marjorie Deagle, and his brother, Maurice. He is also remembered with love by his sisters-in-law Brenda and Coke (Dino), all of whom held a special place in his life.
His family was the pride of his life, and he found immense joy in every moment spent with them. Known for his enormous heart and dependable nature, Doug was the kind of friend who would drop everything to help someone in need. He had an extraordinary gift for working with his hands, whether building, repairing, or tinkering, there was nothing he couldn't fix. You'd normally find him out in the garage with his sense of humor and his tools and projects that filled his days. Doug's presence was steady, comforting, and full of warmth. His legacy will live on in the things he built, the people he loved, and the countless lives he touched simply by being himself.
He will be remembered forever with love, gratitude, and admiration.
As per Doug's request, there will be no funeral. May he rest in peace.
