It is with sadness that I announce the passing of my wife Eileen. After a few years, she is finally out of the clutches of Alzheimer’s. Eileen will be missed by our son Ryan (Leah); daughter Sue (Matt); and our granddaughter Cora; our grandsons Evan, Tommie; and Luca; and Eileen’s brother David (Marilyn) in Kamloops.
Eileen was born in Edmonton. Soon after, her family moved to Toronto where she grew up. She returned to Edmonton to attend the University of Alberta. Eileen graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Eileen’s career started with Edmonton Telephones and progressed to Management Services in the City of Edmonton.
A funeral will not be held, according to her wishes. However, a gathering will be planned for a future date. Cremation has taken place.
If anyone wishes, donations can be made to the Alberta Alzheimer’s Society in Eileen’s name.
