Jean, eldest of 12 children was born September 23, 1926, in Jaroslaw, Alberta to Anna and Paul Holowach. She is remembered by her 8 children: Laasha, Don, Quincy (Laara), Audrey (Vic), Sonya (Derek), Greg (Lorinda), Myron (Cindy), and Marshall; 19 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by her brothers; Fred, Ray and Dennis; and sisters, Nancy and Sylvia. Jean was predeceased by her husband, Walter.

Prayer Service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 7:00 pm at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church 12104 – 129 Avenue, Edmonton. Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Michael’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church. Burial to follow at St. Demetrius Church 8 miles north of Bruderheim.
