Florence Melnyk lost her battle with cancer on 8th of December of 2023. She leaves behind her loving sons, Calvin and Brent, who spent most of his time supporting his mother in her battle.
She is survived by her brother-in-law, Tom; sisters-in-law, Lorraine, Olga and Anne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Florence was predeceased by her husband, Boris; her parents, Mike and Anne; and her brother, Henry.
