Peacefully, on Tuesday November 4th, 2014, after a lengthy illness, Fran passed away at the age of 77 years at the Grey Nuns Hospital, Edmonton. Predeceased by her parents Perry and Mona Connor, Fran leaves behind many dear friends in Edmonton, and in Picton and Prince Edward County, Ontario. Fran worked for Nortel in Belleville Ontario for over 30 years, and was an active volunteer in both "the County" and Edmonton throughout her life. She had a lifelong love for animals, especially cats, and leaves behind her cat pal Sasha.
At Fran's request, cremation has taken place, and a private memorial service is to be held in Edmonton. In accordance with her wishes, mass will follow in Picton with interment at Cherry Valley, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fran's name to the charity of one's choice.
