Gary Walton Fletcher passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at the age of 70. Gary enjoyed a love of reading and had a passion for history. Wherever Gary was, there was guaranteed to be a book nearby. He was a sports enthusiast and attended many of his childrens’ and grandchildrens’ sports games.
Gary’s life will be remembered and his loss mourned by his loving wife of 50 years, Maureen; children, Sean(Lee-Ann) Fletcher, Carly Fletcher, and Travis(Alexis) Fletcher; his grandsons, Noah, Connor and Wyatt Fletcher; his sisters, Linda Rushworth and Georgia(David) Playdon; as well as his nieces, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Gary was predeceased by both his parents Harold and Margaret Fletcher, and sister Janice Fletcher. No funeral service will be held, so we ask that those who knew him, remember him in their hearts, thoughts and prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
