Ginette Lubberts

Beloved wife of the late Albert Lubberts (2006) for 35 years, it brings us comfort knowing they are finally reunited. She was a loving mother to Melanie (Darcy) and Jennifer (Jeff), and a proud grandmother to Sheryl (Matt), Kristian, Wyatt, Bailee (Tyler), Jaxon and Jorja, as well as great-grandmother to Ryan and Maverick. Ginette is survived by her parents Jean and Gilberte Beauregard. The oldest of 8 siblings, she will be greatly missed by Lise (Mike), Daniel (Debbie), Ferrier, Fernand, Pierre, and Colette, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. She was predeceased by her brother Mario.

Ginette was born in Quebec on March 21, 1953 and raised in southern Ontario. In 1971 she married Albert and they went on to have two daughters, living in Ontario and Manitoba before ultimately moving to Edmonton, Alberta in 1980 to continue raising their family. Ginette’s role as a grandmother was one of her greatest joys. She cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. The arrival of her great-grandchildren brought a new depth of joy to her later years.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Memories Funeral Home located at 13403 St. Albert Trail on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024 at 1:00 PM, followed by a luncheon reception.
