Gordan will be lovingly remembered by his children, Trevor (Rosanna) and Danielle (Darian). He will also be sadly missed by his siblings, Lee (Catherine), Gary (Donna), Keith (Debbie), Peggy, and Barry (Jacky). Gordon was predeceased by both his parents, Edward and Mary.
Gordon grew up on a farm near Red Deer. The country spirit would always be a part of his life. For many years, he operated a farm near Thorhild while also working as a software developer in Edmonton. As a software developer, he was a part of the vanguard that was developing the now ubiquitous GIS software. His hobbies included the classics such as curling, jigsaw puzzles, and cheering for the Oilers as well as newer forms of entertainment such as video games and movies. As a caring father, his greatest accomplishment was raising two children that he was proud of.
