There must be an abundance of fish on the other side, as Gregory David Enmark heard the fish calling on Friday, June 10, 2022. On the dock, he leaves his wife of 47 years, Sonya, daughter Cora Husoy (Mike), granddaughters; Rane and Myra, daughter Amanda Preston (Trent Keir), granddaughter Aleah, his brother Gary and family and several cousins. After his fishing expedition he will travel to Valhalla to celebrate in true Norwegian fashion with family and friends waiting there.
Greg had a great love of nature and spent many years working in Saskatchewan parks where he designed and/or built roads, ski hills, golf courses and campgrounds. His ability to create, engineer and build produced many pieces of furniture, cabinetry, home Reno’s and buildings. These talents served him well when working maintenance in northern Alberta camps.
We will miss his world famous fish call, handyman services (he could fix anything), bad Dad jokes and quirky sense of humour and filling the garbage with empty Timmy’s coffee cups. He was a wonderful Grandpa, taking great joy in sharing his knowledge and interests with his grandkids.
As per Greg’s wishes, there will not be a service, but he has left specific instructions on the placement of his cremated remains.
Until we meet again, have fun catching the big ones!
