With a heavy heart we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother on November 23, 2014. Mrs. Helen Evelyn Hayes (Damascus) who was born on March 11, 1932, passed away at the age of 82 years. Survived by her six children; Bill (Leslie) , Wayne (Kim) , Pam (Harry) Way, Laura (Gary) Graves, Rod (Grace), and Jane (Mark) ; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Helen is survived by her two sisters Pearl and Mary. Helen was predeceased by her husband William Harold, March 15, 1995, and two brothers Nicholas and James.
A Funeral Service will be held Friday December 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Memories Funeral Home 13403 St. Albert Trail, Edmonton, those wishing to pay their respects may do so one hour prior to the Service. Interment will follow at Northern Lights Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 9618 101a Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5H 0C7 or the charity of one’s choice.
