With deep sadness our family announces the passing of our mom, grandma and great grandma, Helen Ulveland, who left us to be with Dad on October 3rd, 2025. Mom was determinedly independent for the entirety of her 93 years and when the end came she passed gently in her sleep. She will be forever missed by her son Gregg (Marie), daughter Lee (Blaine) Turner, five grandchildren, Drew (Olga), Alex, Amy (Ryan) Scott, Dara and Kristofer and by her great grandchildren Heidi and Easton Scott. She takes with her a lifelong love of animals and leaves behind numerous grand dogs (Pep and Nook) and great grand dogs and cats (Cooper, Lotus, Glasha, Vincent and Billy).
She was predeceased by her husband of fifty-five years, Ralph, in 2006 and her son Dean in 2009. As per Mom's wishes cremation has already taken place and she will be inurned at a later date beside Dad at Rosehill Cemetery following a private family remembrance.
