February 18, 1935 – July 31, 2015
It is with great sadness that the family announces the death of our father, opa, uhr opa, brother and uncle.
Left to cherish his memories are sons, Roy (Dienne) and Denny; grandchildren, Wyatt (Annamarie), Marya (Tyler), Shaun, Tyler, Calvin and Kaitlyn; great grandchildren, Taylor, Brooklynn, Ryder and Daxton; sister, Lydia (Artur); sister-in-law Lydia; and numerous nieces and nephew.
Helmut was predeceased by his wife, Waltraut; daughter, Petra; parents, Adolf and Leokadya; and brother, Arnold.
The family thanks the staff of the Grey Nuns Hospital for their loving care in Helmut’s final weeks.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so on Wednesday, August 5th 2015 at First Memorial Harmony, 10541-81 Ave Edmonton AB. 6-8 pm.
A memorial service will be held on August 6, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church 10014-81 Ave Edmonton AB. Interment to follow at South Haven Cemetery.
