Jane Diann Pearson

Jane is survived by her sisters Shirley Barnes and Patricia Frost; brother-in-law John Frost; nieces and nephews Allison (Gary), Steven (Steve), John (Jayne), Karen (Michelle), Diane (Tim), Rachel (Sadie), Jeremy (Shelley), Ellen; great nieces and nephews Sarah, Jack, Emily, Jude, Corbin and Gregor. Jane was predeceased by her parents Bert and Doris Fry, husband Gord Pearson, and brother-in-law John Barnes. Jane was born in Torquay, Devonshire, England and immigrated to Canada in 1977. In both England and Canada, Jane worked as a hair dresser and owned her own shop in Calgary. Jane was a life long animal lover and shared her life with numerous beloved dogs and cats. While living in Calgary, she was an advocate for animals, and in recent years, was involved with the pet committee on her condo board.

The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Don Norton, Ruth Story, her many friends at Hanna Crescent, and to the staff of Unit 54 of the Grey Nuns Hospital.

A celebration of her life is being planned and will be held as circumstances permit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alberta SPCA, the Calgary or Edmonton Humane Society, or animal charity of your choice.
