Jeff will be lovingly remembered by his sister Cheryl McAllister and bother-in-law Chris Gauk of Victoria, sister Gail McAllister of Warburg and nieces Alyssa and Jamie Gauk of Vancouver as well as numerous cousins and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Doloris and parents Neil and Phyllis McAllister.
Jeff faced his health challenges with courage. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humour and incredible memory. He could recall details from decades past with amazing clarity. He loved to read, particularly nature books, and enjoyed going for drives down country roads to view the scenery and wildlife.
We will miss Jeff very much.
At Jeff's request, no funeral service will be held. Donations may be made in his memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.
