Joan Barry, 89, of Edmonton, Alberta passed away on October 1, 2015 at the Grey Nun’s Hospital.
Joan is survived by her loving husband, best friend, and fellow artist Douglas D. Barry and her four children: Theresa King (Ron), Margaret Barry, Dennis Barry, and Catherine Barry. Joan also leaves behind grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives, and friends who will miss her gentle, artistic, and unique qualities.
Joan requested a private memorial.
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her at the University of Alberta Hospital and at the Grey Nun’s Palliative Care Unit.
