John Andrew Ronald Hempseed

Born on January 16, 1959 in Montreal, Quebec. John moved to Edmonton, Alberta in 1979, where shortly thereafter he met, and married the love of his life in 1986, Shirley Hempseed (Mayo). Following they had a beautiful baby boy in 1989, Andrew John Hempseed. It wasn't too far along that they welcomed their beautiful baby girl, Chantelle Theresa Hempseed (MacArthur) in 1993.

John was an amazing draftsman and construction worker, and had an eye for attention to detail. Aside from his incredible passion for his work, he was a phenomenal Father and Husband. He loved children, he was so playful because truthfully, he was a child at heart. He was an incredible hockey player and swimmer. He loved tobogganing, skating, soccer, baseball and every sport in between. Words cannot describe the amazing man he was and forever will be.

We all need to know, when tomorrow starts without John, we will try to understand, that an angel came and called his name and took him by the hand.

We have thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad. We have thought of all the love we shared, and all the fun we had. If we could relive yesterday, just even for awhile, we'd say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile.

So when tomorrow starts without you, we need to understand, that we'll never be far apart, because every time we think of you, we know you're right here, forever in our heart.

John was, and forever will be, an amazing man.
