Keith James Thursby

age 62, which occurred on April 8, 2024, Edmonton, Alberta, from post

surgery complications.

Keith was born March 04, 1962 to Pat and Gus Thursby in Edmonton,

Alberta. He graduated from N.A.I.T. with a Diploma in Retail Meat Cutting.

He then worked in several stores around the Province of Alberta, usually

Safeway Stores.

When Keith was young, he played football, and enjoyed bowling, hunting,

photography, and playing Poker with friends.

Keith loved going to the Mountains, especially the Banff Hot Springs, where he would go

several times a year. He loved music and went to many concerts throughout the years. He

loved people and always had a smile on his face. He really looked at “The Sunny Side of Life”.

Keith had a heart attack a few years ago and suffered many health issues since then.

Keith was predeceased by his father, Gus Thursby and his wife, Jessica Knapp.

Keith is survived by his mother Helen Patrica (Thursby) Lockhart (nee McLaughlin) (Henry

Lockhart), sister Joan Elaine Miller (nee Thursby) (Bruce Miller), brother Glenn William Thursby

(Kelly Sherman), niece Taylor, and nephews Zachary, Liam, Ben, and Blake.

The family wishes to thank the ICU Doctors and Nurses at the Grey Nuns Hospital.

Funeral Service will be on April 27, 2024 at 10AM at the
