Kenneth “Ken” Thomas Johnson passed away on January 20, 2026 in Edmonton, Alberta after a progressive battle with Parkinson’s and kidney disease. Throughout his last few years, he maintained the same strength and humour that he carried throughout life.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Linda, and father to Scott (Cathy), Todd (Cathie), Janice (Richard), 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Ken was a mechanic by education, successful entrepreneur owning and managing several businesses throughout life.
Once retired, Ken and Linda were fortunate enough to travel extensively, spend their winters in Palm Desert, and their summers at Pigeon Lake. It was here, at the lake, that cherished lifelong family memories were created.
His pride and love in his grandchildren was evident in watching him interact with them every time he saw them.
