Kenneth William Kelman

Kenneth William Kelman passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 73. A beloved and cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on November 11, 1952, Kenneth was predeceased by his parents, Alexander Vernon Kelman and Joyce Ruth Boutell.

Kenneth married Rosalind Chiu Yung Liew on September 2, 1978. He is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Kristin (Chris) Van Balen, and by his three grandsons, Parker, Carson, and Kobe, who were among his greatest joys. He is also survived by his siblings: Stewart (Betty) Kelman, Sari (Mike) Stiles, and Gordon (Heather) Kelman, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Kenneth passed away while vacationing with family in Mexico, a trip he planned and very much looked forward to.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Memories Funeral Home and Crematorium, 13403 St Albert Trail, Edmonton, AB on April 17, 2026, at 11:00 am. A livestream of the service will be available at the time of service through the link "Join Livestream" below under "Services". A light lunch will follow the service for those who are able to attend.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenneth’s honour may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
