It is with great sorrow that we are announcing the passing of Lavern Irene Brinton. Lavern passed away with family by her side on May 17th 2011 after a lengthy illness.
Lavern is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bill. Daughters Trudy (Wendell), Gail, Valerie (Jacques), Karoll (Alex), Julie (Brett), Sheila (Kevin) and son Elwood (Ann). Also she is survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren as well as 3 brothers Dallas, Duane, Gary and sister Joyce.
A Memorial service in Lavern’s memory will be held at Barrhead United Church 5102 - 60 street, Barrhead, Alberta on May 22, 2011 at 3:00 PM.
Memorial donations in Lavern’s honour may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
