It is with immense love and the heaviest of hearts that the family of Lorraine Goossens announce her passing at the age of 65 on February 18, 2026, in St. Albert, Alberta. Lorraine's fondest memories were spending time with the ones she loved most, her family and friends, whether in Alberta, B.C., or her recreational lot in Washington State. She is survived by her two children Chris and Chelsey (Eric), two step-children Dan (Laura) and Nick (Kim), siblings MaryAnn and Steven, and four grandchildren, Faith, Bianca, Hunter and Brooke. Lorraine is now heavenly reunited with her much loved and missed husband John, her parents Mike and Margaret, and siblings Grace and Douglas. In respecting her final wishes, there will not be a public service. Her family will hold a private inurnment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alberta Heart & Stroke Foundation in her memory.
