Lydia Brandt

Lydia Brandt entered into her eternal rest on March 1, 2026, passing peacefully in her sleep as she had wished.

She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Lydia Keilbart; her brothers Julius, Rudolf, John, and Gustave; her sisters Emma, Olga, and Evelyn; her husbands Henry Ratte and Albert Brandt; her sons Otto and Walter; and her grandson, Colin, and son-in-law Patrick.

Lydia is lovingly remembered by her sons Arthur (Susan) and Albert (Sherri); her daughters, Helga, Doris (Patrick), and Lucy (Don); her daughter-in-law Patricia; eleven grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

She cherished her family deeply and often spoke with gratitude and joy about the blessings they brought into her life.

Lydia will be fondly remembered for sharing stories of her early homesteading years, and for the warmth and pride she carried for her family.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Jubilee Lodge for their compassionate care over the past four years.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives she touched.
