Our Moms life span of 108 years was full of many wonderful experiences, a long-married life and many accomplishments. Her natural instincts as a caregiver and mother, came from farm life growing up with her 4 siblings, her education and her years as a Registered nurse.
Everyone who knew her was touched by her kindness, thoughtfulness, and acceptance of others. Her gentle and kind nature made her many friends and a valued community member where ever she lived. She was a woman of faith and loved music as a United Church choir member, band member and a pianist at home. She was a long-standing member of the Rebekah Lodge, helping and promoting various community minded organizations.
Her unconditional love made her a wonderful wife and mother, who will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. Her family would like to thank all the hard-working health care staff members that took care of our moms needs these past years at Rosedale in Edmonton and at Youville St Albert.
