It is with heavy hearts that the family of Norah Burns announces her passing on Christmas Day 2022. Norah was the proud daughter of Scottish immigrants and was born in and lived her life in the Parkdale neighbourhood in Edmonton, Alberta. She is survived by her sons Bryan (Linda) Burns, Darrell (Charlotte) Burns her grandchildren Kory (Shelley) Burns, Brandy (Jeff Weber) Burns, Sara (Brent) Sheldon, Desiree Burns, Joshua Burns as well as great grandchildren Averly Burns, Quinn Burns and Brooke Sheldon. She is predeceased by her husband Jack Burns, her parents William and Isabella Coupland, sister Margaret, brother Bill and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and countless friends.
A memorial service to honour Norah’s life will be celebrated at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 8715 118 Avenue Edmonton, AB on Saturday, January 7, 2022 at 1:00 PM. Cremation entrusted to Memories Funeral Home.
