Patricia was born in Middleton, Nova Scotia, on April 2, 1962. Her early years took her from Nova Scotia to Bagotville, Quebec, and then to Lloydminster, Alberta. After graduating from Reeves Business College, she moved to Edmonton, where she began a long and fulfilling career with Edmonton Telephones, which later became Telus. Patricia dedicated 33 and a half years to the company before retiring in May of last year.
Patricia will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a kind and generous spirit—cherished for her warm heart, her sense of humor, and her unwavering love for those around her.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jason Curtis; her sisters Deb Perrotte (Dave) and Linda Brassard (Denis); her brothers Bob Lacoursiere (Alice) and Michael Lacoursiere (Cindy); as well as numerous uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Patricia was predeceased by her parents, Réal and Carol Lacoursiere.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 26 at 2:00 PM at Hainstock’s Funeral Home, 9810 34 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB. All who knew and loved Patricia are welcome to attend.
