Patricia Alene Zabelski

Patricia Alene Zabelski (nee Javens) of St. Albert, AB, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away Sunday, February 1, 2026, at the age of 90 years.

Pat will be greatly missed by her family, relatives, and friends. Pat was a loving mother to three sons and one daughter: Rick, Sandy (Leo), Ted (Lilly) and Bob. She was a grandmother to Nick, Chris (Daria), Shannon, and Megan (Brandon). She was also a great grandmother to Elizabeth, William and twins Ivy and Felix and an aunt to numerous nephews and nieces.

She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Zane; eldest son Rick, brother Dick, sister Barb, and parents Harry and Violet Javens; sisters-in-law in Jean, Marie, Carrie, Adele and Dorothy, brothers-in-law Ed, Tony, Mike, Louis, John and George.

The family extends their grateful thanks to Shepherd’s Care Kensington Village. They took exceptional care of her in her last few years. Also, thanks to the University of Alberta Hospital for all their loving care.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Memories Funeral Home, 13403 St Albert Trail, Edmonton, AB with interment following at Holy Cross Cemetery, Edmonton, AB.
