She was born and raised in Hong Kong and moved to Canada in 1979 to raise her family. Although she experienced adversities throughout her journey in this world, she maintained a determined and light-hearted approach to life.
She is survived by 5 brothers, two daughters, and countless friends and family.
A viewing will be held on Monday, July 8, 2024 at 2:00pm at Hainstock’s Funeral Home (9810 34 Avenue NW) and a church memorial will be held on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Evangel Baptist Church (1204 Ellwood Road SW).
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the Kaye Edmonton ALS clinic and the Evangel Baptist Church and its parishioners. Their unwavering compassion, guidance, and support assisted Rita in finding peace and comfort at her end of life.
