It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Robert Alexander Lazaruk on July 3 with his family by his side. Robert is survived by his wife of 53 years Maxine Lazaruk and daughters Karen Balchin (Jeff ) Cheryl Ellyin (Christopher) Brenda Lozeron and Heather Carey (Robert). Six grandchildren Jordanne, Hailey, Reese, Cole, Griffin and Ethan. Bob loved his family dearly and enjoyed time and outings with his friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to all the doctors and nurses at the Dialysis unit and I.C.U. at the U of A Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. A memorial service will be held Tuesday July 11, 2017 at 2pm at Hainstock's Funeral home, 9810-34 Avenue NW.
