It is will great sadness the family announces the passing of Robert Donald MacDonald on Oct 14, 2016 at the age of 91. He is survived by his son, Robert (Heather); daughters, Donna MacDonald, Rose Grace; granddaughter, Sarrah (Ryan) Johnstone; great grandchildren, Scarlett and Finn. He was predeceased by his brothers, Angus and Alex; sister, Jean Mikkelsen; first wife, Rosa; second wife, Alice.
Don served in the Air Force from 1943- 1946 and was posted overseas. He began his one and only job with Canada Packers Ltd in 1942 when he was 17. He moved up from the mail desk to the Office manager, retiring in 1984 after 42 years.
The family extends grateful thanks to the Palliative wing of St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital.
