Robin Dale Montgomery

May 1950 - March 2024

It is with sadness that our family announces the passing of Robin Montgomery in Edmonton Alberta after suffering from kidney disease for the past several years.

Robin is predeceased by his sister Karen and parents Ludell and Graydon Montgomery.He is survived by his first partner Freda Cardinal, daughter Natasha Montgomery and grandchildren, Madison , Leland and Kihya.

Robin spent 10 years in the Canadian Armed Services stationed in Quebec and Lahr , Germany. On his return to Canada he went north where he fulfilled his dream of having a dog team. He had a love for wild animals.

He worked in mining initially and then for Canada Transport flying into all the northern airports doing maintenance work. His trade was plumbing and gas fitting which was an asset with his last job which was as building inspector for the booming city of Grande Prairie.

Robin loved fishing and he and Jeff enjoyed some happy times camping and fishing until his health prevented him from enjoying this activity.

An Inurnment will take place at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Vernon, British Columbia with Military Honours.
