Roger Rudolph Rose, a charismatic fellow with a huge heart and quick wit. Dressed in western cut suits, wearing a bolero tie, cowboy boots and fancy belt buckles he did business throughout Europe, the States and Canada. He shone and was a force to be reckoned with. Wherever he travelled he took his family with him and gathered those who had no family into his. As he got older, he began to look like Santa Claus and got great enjoyment out of playing the role for young and old, always with his wife Dona May by his side.
Roger, also known lovingly as Papa and Great Papa, leaves behind many who will carry him with love in their hearts, June, Dennis, Karen, Sheryl, Rick, Jenny, Mia, Tara, Stacy, Kaitlin, Roger Jr., David, James, Farren Lynn, Jennifer, Allannah, Stephenie, Krystal, and the next generation of 12 great grandchildren. There are so many more that called him friend, Papa, Great Papa.
His children, June, Dennis, and Karen would like to thank our Dad for giving us a life of adventure and love, for making our family circle so large and teaching us how to treat people with dignity.
Dad loved to walk, and he told us that he was going to go and have a long walk with our mother, Dona May, our brother, Alan, and the rest of the family that had gone before him. Enjoy your walk Dad, you will be missed.
