Savithree Naidoo, born on January 26, 1939, in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa, lived a life rooted in resilience, and family. She married the love of her life, Kristnan Naidoo, in 1958, and together they built a life, welcoming four children, while she worked hard running a canteen.
In October 1982, Savithree and Kristnan immigrated to Canada, beginning a new chapter grounded in opportunity. In her new home, she continued her commitment to service, working as a group home house parent for the Government of Alberta. Alongside this, she became well known for her beloved samosa business, which brought comfort and flavour to so many.
She leaves behind her children — Haloshini, Vimla, Romalan, and Sumenthren — and her cherished grandchildren: Zara, Jessica, Noelle, Jacob, Jax-Sai, Genevieve, Sophie, and Alexis. Her love, strength, and warmth will forever live on through them.
