While the angels rejoice, we are beyond sad to announce the passing of our Matriarch, Great Grandmother, Grandmother, Mother, Auntie, and Friend.
Sherry Robinson was born in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta on November 9th, 1949 to Vera Mason and James Chatwood, and lived here till she was 16 when she moved to Edmonton to raise a family, and start her adventure. What a ride it was. Sherry always danced to her own drum, she was a beautiful soul, she trusted the Lord with many of her trials, and she will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to know her. She had a heart of gold, and loved helping everybody, loved gardening and planting, and was an avid pet rescuer. Her selfless manner, love of life, sense of humour, and strong perseverant attitude are only some of the many things we will remember about her time here on earth. God speed.
She is survived by Her daughter, Linda Robinson, Son Greg Janzen (Erin), Sisters Shirley Anderson and Cheryl Martens. She also has 13 wonderful grandchildren to honor her memory, Melissa, Larissa, Seth, Noah, Shoal, Jaida, Emma, Eva, Jewel, Brandon, Kendra, Aiden and Olivia, and two great-grand children, Bennett, and Light. She is predeceased by her son Daryl Robinson who accompanied her this day, Son Dean Robinson, and the love of her life Dave Smith. A memorial service for Sherry will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Hainstock's Funeral Home & Crematorium, 9810- 34th Ave, Edmonton, AB.
