It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness our family announces the loss of Shirley Laverne (Young) Sayer, a dedicated and loving wife, mother and mama on November 26, 2025. Shirley was born on October 7, 1947 in Athabasca, Alberta.
Shirley has joined her husband Don who was predeceased on July 18, 2023. Left to cherish and honour Shirley's memory are her daughters, Michelle Sayer (Clayton), Nicole Whitton (Gordon), and Kelly Hawreliak (Shawn); grandchildren, Tristen and Grayson Lawrence, Landon, Brooklyn, Faith, Ainsley and Avaya Whitton, Eva and Natalie Hawreliak and many other family members and friends.
A celebration of life and reception will take place at St. Albert Community Hall at 17 Perron St., St Albert, AB on Thursday December 4, 2025 at 2:00pm.
