“With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our dear brother, Silvio Julien André Mancin, on April 5, 2026. Born on September 26, 1968, Silvio was a shining light in our family. We faced life's joys and challenges together. His love of nature and his dedication to his family were inspiring. Silvio was loved by all who knew him and he will be dearly missed.
Silvio served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 23 years. He leaves behind many friends and comrades, as well as a legacy of love, kindness, and unforgettable memories.
He is survived by his son whom he loved with all his heart, Tony. He also leaves behind his mother, Denise, his sisters, Nathalie and Ines, his brother Gastone, as well as brothers-in-law, Khaled and Colton. Silvio was also a loving uncle to Lucas, Sara, Mariam, Adam, Aliyah, Arielle and Sofia. His spirit and sense of humour will live on in our hearts forever.”
