The miles and lack of communication over many many years does not ever weaken the connection and love we all had for one another back then. I was only today made aware of Steves passing. I have often though of you two and how our lives have unfolded. I am truly saddened by your loss. The world will never be a better place without out Steve. Much love always... Scotty

Steve was the most unpretentious individual I have ever met.  The power sports industry in particular, and the world in general, has lost one of our most colorful characters, and much too soon.

Hello Donna and family,

Very sad to read about Steve in yesterday's paper. When I putter around in my back yard, I often think how I miss my good neighbours - you and Steve ( and that crazy poodle, Jack). I get the feeling Steve never grew up. Always a kid with some new toy to tinker with. I miss the sound of  his revved up motorcycle, perfectly tweaked with some new gadget and ready to go for his next ride.

I am thinking of him fondly and will always remember a real character, a great neighbour and a good man.
