It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Susan Jane Christie on November 3, 2025.
Susan was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ryerson Christie, who passed away on August 17, 2023. She is lovingly remembered by her children: Mathew (Trina), Karen (Stephen), and Johnnie (Juan Juan); her cherished grandchildren: Jacob, Tiffany (Colin), and Johnnie; and her great-grandchildren: Grace, Brennon, and Marceline.
Susan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her life was marked by generosity, kindness, and a deep commitment to her family and community. She gave freely of her time and talents, volunteering with organizations such as Beavers, the Moravian Church, Operation Red Nose, and Operation Christmas Child. Her creativity and warmth were evident in her love for knitting, sewing, and baking, which she shared generously with those around her.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Millwoods Community Church (2304 - 38 Street NW, Edmonton, AB).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Susan’s memory may be made to the Millwoods Community Church or the Alzheimer Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
